Alexander Graham Bell

Alexander Graham Bell, American scientist, best known as the inventor of the telephone, did important work in communication for the deaf. He was born on 3 March 1847 in Edinburgh and educated there and in London. Bell died on 2 August 1922 at his home in Nova Scotia.
